RBC Customer Service: I'm sorry, that balance was from a deposit made two days before. We hold deposits for three days before the funds are cleared.
Me: But the deposit was in cash. And my mortgage is with your bank.
RBC: Yes.
Me: So you have my money, and at the same time you don't have my money.
RBC: In a way, yes.
Me: And you want to use that money to pay yourself, but you won't give it to yourself.
RBC: That's correct.
Me: And that costs me $35.
