Maybe we should start referring to "9/11" as "9/11/2001" so the phrase "Post 9/11 World" loses its teeth. It will still be a Post 9/11 World in the year 4000, but nobody will give a crap. As long as we leave the year out, "9/11" evokes a feeling of timelessness and perpetual emergency.
