Technics 1200 For Sale $350

I'm selling my right turntable because the tonearm is just not solid enough for scratching. I purchased it from a DJ in London in 2002 for $450 and it has been gently used since then, taken out for half a dozen gigs but otherwise just used to play records in my basement. Click on the image for a Close-up.

Pros:

  • It's a Technics 1200, the best turntable in history.
  • Direct-drive motor and magnetic brake still working great to the best of my knowledge.
  • New extra-long RCA cable and power cord.
  • Aluminum 7" spacer included for your 45s.

Cons:

  • Scuffs on the surface.
  • Adjusting the tonearm height causes some audible crackling on the line, so some servicing may be required there (once set up though, plays fine.)
  • Ground wire is snipped, works fine but could use a new end.
  • "Pause" lever not working, may work fine after a cleaning.

Not Included:

  • Cartridge/headshell
  • Dust Cover
