Frank Zappa was one cool cat. CNN's "Crossfire" always favoured extreme points of view on any topic, and they must have thought Zappa was some kind of wacky hipster that would make outrageous claims on the topic of rock music and free speech. This would make for a perfect cage match with pro-censorship opponent John Lofton, who appears to have attended the Ann Coulter school of debate (say anything to make your opponent angry.) Lofton can't get a rise out of Frank though.
